ABOUT

Me and my MUSIC

Writing music is simply telling stories with a language that every woman and every man can understand

Edoardo Fainello is a composer for film, TV and theatre plays, and he writes music since he was 15. He loves classical music (Ludwig van Beethoven, Joseph Haydn, Antonio Vivaldi, Claude Debussy), but he has grown up listening to Ultravox, Sakamoto, Mark Isham, Jean Michelle Jarre, Mike Oldfield, Japan, Depeche Mode, Vangelis, Brian Eno, Philip Glass and so many others. And every musician gave him something, a vision, a way to shape sounds and melodies to create alternative images.
He mainly composes music for theatre plays, for tv, movies and documentaries, with a meticulous approach and putting the ideas of the director at the top of his priorities, (he’s also an actor, a director and a teacher) but sometimes he loves to channel his ideas to tell a story with an album, in a sort of stream of thoughts.
And the stories he prefers to tell are the lives of “ordinary” people, just like him.
Just like everyone.
